Recently realtor.com released their picks for the top 10 American cities for dog lovers and the fun, eclectic Texan city of Austin made the list. This hip and funky town is a cool blend of classic Texas meets urban city. You’ll find great beer gardens, tons of BBQ, and a whole lot of dog-friendly spots to hang on your visit to Austin Texas.

Cosmic Coffee + Beer Garden is one of those places that’s got it all: deliciously rich caffeine, funky cocktails, locally crafted beers, and an incredible outdoor space including a fire pit! Add in daily food trucks to serve amazing bites and you’ve got the perfect storm! Dogs are welcome inside and outside so you can enjoy your bites and pints no matter the weather!

This is doggy (and human) heaven. Yard Bar is a dog park, bar and restaurant all in one. It’s an outdoor paradise for doggies to run around and play with one another and a great spot for their human friends too! Not only do they have a human menu full of delicious bites, salads and snacks, but the dogs have their own menu including doggy ice cream and meatballs and gravy. There is an entrance fee for dogs, which you can read more about here, but it grants you access all day to enjoy the outdoor oasis.

Uncle Billy’s Brewery and Smokehouse not only crafts their own beer, but they have some banging BBQ that’s made in house as well! With two locations, this urban brewery and BBQ joint is a fun place to gather with friends for a good time, good food and good brews. Bring your dog along for daily “dog days” where even your furry friend gets a little treat.

With a beautiful outdoor space your furbaby will have tons of fun and even get a treat or two from staff.
