Established in 1954, Vesleka is a chic little spot in the heart of the East Village that serves up traditional Ukranian food. Their outdoor wraparound sidewalk seating is the perfect spot to bring your furry friend to enjoy an afternoon bite, with plenty of shade for them to hang. They’ve even been known to give out homemade dog bones, so make sure you ask your waiter!
Black Door

While they don’t have any outdoor space, pets are welcome inside to hang while their owners sip on hand-crafted cocktails and beverages. Yup, this is a dog-lovers sanctuary. Luckydog is a funky little hipster bar for dogs, humans and beer. Located in Brooklyn this hole-in-the-wall bar has plenty of pet-friendly indoor and outdoor seating as well as a backyard area for dogs to run and play while their humans enjoy a glass of wine or ice cold beer. Not a bad way to spend a hot New York City summer day.
