Spot Celebrities at Laurel Canyon Dog Park

The mountainous neighborhood of Laurel Canyon was once a mecca for counterculture activity and home to some of the world’s most famous rock musicians such as Jim Morrison, Neil Young, and Joni Mitchell.
You can find the Laurel Canyon Dog Park along the road dividing the neighborhood into two: Mulholland Drive.
The dog park is open from sunrise to sunset and closed for two hours on Friday morning for maintenance.
Grab a Beer at Highland Park Brewery

Located in Chinatown on North Spring Street, LA’s Highland Park Brewery makes really great beer!
The lagers, stouts, and ales can be imbibed on the brewery’s open-air patio. That is always dog-friendly, though they are unfortunately not welcome in the tasting room!
Soak Up the Sun at Rosie’s Dog Beach

Rosie’s Dog Beach is one of the many dog-friendly beaches in Long Beach, California, a short drive from downtown Los Angeles. It is the only off-leash dog beach in the entire county!
Rosie’s isn’t a dedicated dog beach, meaning it isn’t fenced-in. But there is a large dog zone that is open from 6 am to 8 pm daily. Pooper scoops and waste bags are always available on-site and parking is free on the street if you want to avoid paying at the beach parking lot.
Grab a Cup of Joe at Muddy Paw Coffee

Sometimes, we need a caffeine boost to match our furry friends’ energy level. Luckily, on the list of LA’s pet-friendly activities is a visit to Muddy Paw Coffee. The pet-friendly cafe has two locations, one in Silver Lake on Sunset Boulevard and one on Eagle Rock Boulevard.
The coffee shop’s motto is “Have a cup, save a pup,” harkening to their philanthropy in helping animal welfare organizations in the community. The coffee is roasted in New Hampshire and the Eagle Rock location hosts educational events with dog trainers at their private dog park and patio.
Shop Organic at the Original Farmers Market
Take your dog for a walk on the grounds of this historic outdoor market in West Hollywood. The Original Farmers Market was established in 1934 as a way for area farmers to bring fresh produce to the people of Los Angeles.
Today, the farmers market has excellent food stalls where you can buy fresh groceries, enjoy a meal at an open-air restaurant, or shop at a boutique store.
